Welcome To Legacy Leaders Co-Op

Explore, create, and serve: a two-day program of growth and impact for high school students.

The Mission

I believe education should do more than teach facts — it should shape character.
I started this co-op to help kids grow into confident, independent thinkers who build their own belief systems and stand strong in their values — without the noise and “pollution” of the world around them.

I also believe in the power of serving others. Giving back builds compassion, leadership, and purpose. Through real projects and community outreach, my students learn that character isn’t taught — it’s lived.

By the time teens complete this program, they don’t just finish a season of learning — they launch. They leave ready to stand up for what they believe in, with hearts dedicated to helping others, and the skills to start, market, and run their own businesses.

Wednesday Courses

-Debate & Critical Thinking

-Wealth Builders

-Herbal Wisdom

-Entrepreneurship

In this class, students explore real-world topics that shape the world around us — learning how to research, question, and discuss issues that matter. Each debate challenges them to understand both sides of an argument, dig into the facts, and uncover the “why” behind different perspectives.

Students also learn how to communicate thoughtfully and have respectful conversations with people who hold different views — a skill the world desperately needs today. By listening before they speak and thinking before they react, they develop confidence, clarity, and conviction.

This class doesn’t just teach debate — it teaches students how to stand strong in what they believe, while engaging others with respect, integrity, and insight.

In this class, students learn the skills that schools often skip but everyone needs: how to budget, pay taxes, build and use credit responsibly, and understand the impact of financial choices. Through real-life simulations—being given a budget and navigating everyday financial situations—they’ll have fun while learning how to make smart decisions in the real world. Students also dive into investing, including the stock market, and explore strategies for growing and managing money wisely. By the end of this program, teens will not only understand how money works—they’ll have the confidence and habits to use it to create the life they want.

In this class, students turn ideas into real businesses. They’ll learn the essentials of creating a business, including the differences between LLCs and other business structures, building a solid business plan, and setting up a website. The class also covers marketing strategies, attracting customers, and generating real profit. Through hands-on experience, students gain the skills and confidence to launch a business they can continue and grow even after leaving the program, giving them a head start on real-world success.

In Herbal Wisdom, students explore the power of nature to support health and wellness. They’ll learn about herbalism, foraging for wild plants, and natural remedies to help heal and care for the body. The class teaches how to identify, harvest, and use herbs safely, while understanding the science and traditions behind natural healing practices. Through hands-on projects and real-world applications, students gain knowledge and skills to make healthy choices, connect with nature, and care for themselves and others naturally.
